The Surround Project partners with the Barshop JCC Special Needs & Inclusion Project to host ASL Interpreter and Instructor Robert Cardoza for an interactive session.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This session is appropriate for front of house teams, patron services, education and engagement professionals, and lay leadership in San Antonio cultural arts organizations (theatres, performing arts companies & venues, museums, and libraries).
WHAT WILL WE LEARN?
The session will present a short overview of ADA requirements, Inclusion & Access strategies, and how to find and communicate with new audiences. Robert will cover how to successfully prepare for your ASL interpreted event, including plays, musicals, symphony, dance, museum exhibit tours and events, and library events. There will be time for individual questions and answers as well.
Participants will walk away with a collection of resources and assessment tools to share with your teams.
